Cancellation & Refund Policy

How cancellations, missed appointments, deposits and refunds are handled.

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Notice period

Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment. That allows us to offer the time to another patient, often someone waiting in discomfort.

You can cancel by calling +41 22 000 00 00 during opening hours or emailing hello@lumiere-dental.demo at any time.

2. Late cancellations and missed appointments

Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, and appointments missed without notice, may incur a fee reflecting the reserved clinical time. Long surgical or implant sessions carry a higher reserved-time fee.

We waive this fee where the reason is a genuine emergency, illness or bereavement. Tell us what happened and we will apply discretion sensibly.

3. Late arrival

If you arrive late we will treat you if the remaining time allows it safely. Otherwise we will rebook, because rushing clinical work is not in your interest.

4. Deposits

Longer appointments, implant surgery and full smile-design cases may require a deposit. Deposits are applied to your final invoice and are refundable if you cancel within the notice period.

5. Refunds for undelivered treatment

If you have paid in advance for treatment stages that have not been carried out, the unused amount is refunded in full, less any laboratory work already commissioned specifically for you.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within ten working days of agreement.

6. Completed treatment and guarantees

Completed clinical work is not refundable simply on request, because the time, materials and clinical skill have been delivered. Where a restoration fails prematurely under normal use, we will assess it and repair or replace it under the guarantee terms given with your treatment plan.

Guarantees assume attendance at recommended hygiene visits and reasonable care, including wearing a protective night guard where one was advised.

7. Concerns

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or billing, tell us first at hello@lumiere-dental.demo. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them fully rather than defensively.
